And theyr enot impossible by any means, I MYSELF have aced every single level in story mode, and acquired the PLAY trophy. Just practice each level, theyre not TOOOOO bad. Oct 26 2009, 6:17 PM EDT Would someone tell me how you are supposed to have an easier time acing levels with someone online rather than by yourself. I see SOOO mnay flawas in this theory, but maybe I just dont understand it. First of all, Acing the levels means NO DEATHS, PERIOD! Even if one person stays alvie the WHOLE time, if the other player dies once its all over. Second of all, wouldnt it be HARDER to ace levels online because most of th etime lag i introduced. To me it sounds way harder to ace a level with lag than it does without lag by yourself. Third, I find it really hard to ace levels when im playing with someone with lower skill, mostly because i get bumped off screen by them falling. Oct 27 2009, 5:47 AM EDT Hi spOngyraver, I have aced all levels, I can tell you this for fact, if you are playing with another player and they die you can still ace the level because it only counts on you not dying in the level. Second I agree with you it is harder to do so online, but not totaly impossable. The best way I found is have someone help you with it so, I would have a friend(s) come over and help with those levels that need 2,3,or 4 player to complete. If you need more help just ask. RE: anyone know if there is anywhere to get any of the level ace prize Oct 27 2009, 7:02 AM EDT Yeah, I get that if YOU dont die, you still ace the level, but then whats the difference between doing it online and doing it alone if the other player has absolutely no influence on your score. Not only does it not give you an advantage, you run the risk of getting lag, which makes acing it even HARDER. You dont need 2,3, or 4 players to complete levels, only to get items. But usually when you are getting ppl together to go on an item trek like that, nobody has acing the level in mind. At this point, lag has made the game almost unplayable. Everyone cant WAIT to get the items so they can leave the level and go back to their pod. Using ppl online to get items is good, using them for acing levels, not so good. At thi spoint, I still cannot see any advantage to acing levels with a person who has already done it compared to just doing it alone. Practice makes perfect, if you can't ace it, just keep playing it through after you die to get practice, one time you will play it and ace it out of nowhere, its happened to me before. The differance from online and offline is this. 1. Online is there for anyone to get together and play different levels together and for those days that you for some reason can not get your friends over to help you with those levels that may need 2,3,or 4 to collect all items. And yes there are times when it does lag, MM should address this problem. The only way it way it will influence your score is if who ever plays with you may try and get a higher score then you. 2. Offline...well I am sure you already know the many advantages it has. 1. no lag, 2. you can play the level alone and take as long as you like to finish it..no time limit (except races in levels) which brings up another point. 3. Races online or offline also influence your score. The faster you beat the race the higher your score will be. 4. What I am asking is VERY specific, it has nothing to do with score or getting 2x,3x,4x items, what im asking is simply " Why do people who cannot ace a level think that trying it online with somebody else will make acing it any easier?" RE: anyone know if there is anywhere to get any of the level ace prize Apr 16 2010, 12:27 PM EDT it is actully really easy to ace the last level if you try because the bosses on the last level repeat the same movements every time you play it may look like its following you but its just repeating the same movements i played it about five times and memerized the movements and aced it if you ace the last level called the collecter you get a 2d costume called yellow head. Once you beat it with on lives lost (aced) then you can come back anytime you wish and collect the rest of the objects at your own pace, because then you can die and not sweat about aceing it. On last thing just run thought the level (with in reason) and get to the scoreboard and the end. the faster you do this it will help with no lives lost (aced). Post reply Do you find this valuable?
