Creating a level
Oct 4 2009, 4:12 PM EDT | Post edited: Oct 4 2009, 4:12 PM EDT
Hi. please help me. i have spent ages creating a level (my first), and sackboy and creations in level seem to be sinking into the floor as i add more. it is also on the slant as in the beginning of the level sackboy is completely submerged and at the end sackboy is up to the waist. i dont know if this is important but when i add things (e.g. shaped wood) to other larger shapes and then press play (all in edit mode) things become unstuck to the floor so i am forever attaching them to the floor again. please help , i really dont want to start again from scratch.
cheers

It's possible that you have glued too much stuff together. Try to un-glue as much as you can and instead, Hope this helps.hold it in place with dark matter. You can make the dark matter invisible by using the square shape and making it as small as possible. It will still hold things in place. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Take care with glueing. Un-glueing something sometimes removes ALL the glue. I usually build my levels in discrete sections, physically separated from the rest of my complete level. Then, when I have completed that little section, and know it it working, I fill in the gap. That way, if the editor decides to unglue stuff, the damage is restricted to that one isolated section you are working on. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
