My first level on this thread will be Below the Root - Chapter 2 : _______ (subtitle not decided yet). This level will be finished around the middle of the week or sooner. Then I will seek advice and criticism. Do you find this valuable?

I have a new level named The Heavenly Lights. I want others to say what they think I could do to fix problems or glitches if there is any.
(And its my first level too, so don't expect too much)

I've created two RPG-levels and would like some (constructive) feedback, hopefully on both. One is called "Electronic RPG-lvl", and can be a little repetitive... I've tried to make it more varied but when I do, everything falls apart... The other is called "Adventure RPG-lvl" and is (hopefully) more fun ;)

(If I posted the level-names incorrectly, they can be found under creator-name: Ygg_Barasil )

Mortasa: I'll try "The Heavenly Lights" tonight and give feedback later.

Mortasa want to F4F? I'll play the heavenly lights and you play kaiserlome's password system? (Just search for authors kaiserlome and go from there) When I add a password I put it here:

I am making a level called 9 o'clock. Its not finished yet, I need to decorate it more. The level is where you are this man living in an apartment. You have to go to your job using your car and then the train. Then when you are done with work, you go home and the scoreboard appears on your roof.
The scoreboard couldn't fit in the house so I used the roof. The level also involves clocks and time. It is not the longest of levels but the thermo is nearly four fifths of the way through.

I played both your levels.

Electronic RPG - Audio = 2 - Visual = 3 - Funfactor = 3 - Overall = 3
+ loved the digital countdown clock - great stuff
- all or most of your switches and music boxes should have visibility settings turned OFF, they don't
- Plug puzzle seemed confusing (I had to unplug the plug and then plug it back in?)
- the character near the level's end that has the "GEAR" sign didn't appear to give me anything when I activated the dissolve box he was holding?

Adventure RPG (I'm guessing you made this level before Electronic RPG?)

- story character near the level's start kept re-emitting every 2 seconds and other characters seemed confusing to me
- What the ____ is "Sell Chocolate?" actually doing? I couldn't figure it out.
- Could not finish the level because the bouncer kept telling me I needed to grow up before I could pass? Again, could not figure this one out.

But it looks like your level creation skills are improving, so I will critique more of your levels in the future if you want.

I played Heaven and Hell and there are some bugs that need resolving.
Audio = 2 - Video = 2 - Funfactor = 1 - Overall = 2

+ interesting and challenging concept
- needs a double-life checkpoint at entrance to hell (rather than the standard checkpoint). IMO (I died there first time through)
- 2nd time through the level I was able to fall slightly to the right while going through the transition to hell (and I probably could have fallen left as well). Then I could take a looooong walk around your level until I finally fell into a big empty square room in which there was no means of escape from.
- 3rd time through the level, after the falling fire-logs, I jumped down a hole (the only apparent thing I could do), and then grabbed a hanging sponge to avoid falling into a big spike pit. Only... the sponge didn't rescue me or take me anywhere. I could only let go and fall into the pit? Maybe I am still not seeing something?
- If I remember correctly, you had firey platforms in the Heaven area???

You should know however that even though there appeared to be no way to finish the level, maybe robotiod this is still a level in the extreme early beta stages?

I have three levels out, but I only really care about feedback for 2. Unfortunately I cant get on LBP, but the levels are:

The Wrong Way Home Part One: The Mining Facility

The Wrong Way Home Part 2 Vortex: The Icy Pass

I almost have a fourth out, but I can't work on it now, due to my disk drive being naughty.

Thanks for the feedback, mindphaser. Feel I just have to comment a few things.

Electronic:
-The plug puzzle is not well explained in the lvl (my bad, will change that)...
-You must get a new PSU from the GEAR-dude (and he wont give you anything if you are rude) :p

Adventure:
-The re-emitting of characters was my way to get a dialog that changed after the choices you did. I can try to change that.
-The "Sell chocolate" is a choice you get. You can either keep the chocolate, or sell it. Since you couldn't finish the lvl, it doesn't make sense.
-(To get further you must stand on the sponge in front of the bouncer to "get taller"). If you got time, please try again.
-My music may be visual, haven't thought of that as a negative factor. But the switches should not be. Guess I must play through the levels again.

Anyways, thanks again. Helps me to improve! And I'm looking forward for your chapter2.

Hey, I haven't gotten to play your level (or anyone else's for that matter) but how about emitting something behind the characters so the player can't see, and you don't have to switch out the characters every time. It'll look like the characters are talking, but no awkward dissolve visuals.

your supposed to swing right on that spong but i'll try and fix it i new it was a bit glitchy but i needeed another opinion.
