My Ps3 is acting wierd

Hey everyone i was wondering if someone could help me out, my ps3 has been acting weird over the past two days like not loading games & not being able to delete my messages or view my friends. Please help meee! =[ Do you find this valuable?

THat doesnt sound good. You might have to ship it to the manufacturer for repair? I dont know where you live but it is possible to rent one while you are waiting for that one to be fixed. IN that case though you should put a flash drive in and then save your game data and that way you can load it onto the loaner ps3. Off hand to rent I can only think of rent a center if you have one. Of course dont buy it from there or you'll get ripped off. Just rent it somewhere for a few weeks. Hope that helps some. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah thanks i live in the UK I've sent a email to Sony asking them what i can do about it. Do you find this valuable?

I would back up all your data onto a memory stick/ portable hard drive just incase

Then speak to either your local game retailer or Sony for advice

Sonex says i have to take it to playstation themselfs but i dont know how or where? Do you find this valuable?

Just an idea, but if you're going to send it to Sony anyway, why not just backup and use the 'Format' option in the 'Settings' section, and then get the PS3 to reinitialise it? This would probably solve most software-related issues, and as it's what Sony would do anyway, what do you have to lose? Do you find this valuable?
