Concepts not mentioned above that would be great
Oct 16 2008, 2:39 PM EDT
1. Breakable glass (Put prizes in bubbles that take effort to break. Or make a heavy item to drop and break part of a level.)2. Different mutiplayer options (Team vs. team, battle arena, hide and seek, etc.) (Maybe assign different players different re-spawn doors?) 4. A nice shiny metal (Aluminum foil or flashing instead of just the kind of dirty metal from the beta) 5. Light bulbs (Christmas lights, different light sources, spotlights, flashlights, etc.) 6. Water effects (So you can put out fire. Keep it away from electricity or get shocked. Maybe even spill it on ice to make more ice? Or even put a little water on a lot of fire to create steam!!! Could be interesting.) 7. Maybe something to make a wind-up toy? (Provide power for limited amount of time, instead of levers/switches/buttons with permanent power) 8. One potentially fun environmental hazard could be acid. 9. Also the ability to climb would be nice. Or maybe a certain material that you can climb on to go up walls or something. Maybe like velcro? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Just so you know, they said that what was in beta, would only be a fraction of what you could do in the actual game. So there could very well be all of these things, but I'm just letting you know :D.I think you covered everything I thought of though. Do you find this valuable? |

I think I read somewhere that Lighting effects would actually be very varied and innovative, so expect to see a lot of good lighting tools in the actual game.I agree that all of the above would be great, but some, like the water, may not actually fit the game once put in. Only other note I have is about 9. (Climbing)... I understand that it isnt the same kind of thing, but being lifted up by holding onto somthing is quite similar and defeats the object of climbing. If you had climbing, e.g. stairs or certain walls to climb up, we wouldn't need to hold onto things to be lifted up. Just speaking while I think here, so I could be wrong. "I think I read somewhere that Lighting effects would actually be very varied and innovative, so expect to see a lot of good lighting tools in the actual game.Very good point. I just remember a level someone made with the beta that you could barely make the jumps onto a thing that moved up and down. The only way I could get to the top was to grab, then let go on the way down and grab again. It was very annoying... Do you find this valuable? |

"1. Breakable glass (Put prizes in bubbles that take effort to break. Wind up toys is very much possible. But other than those good post. Do you find this valuable? |

With a little effort Windup toys are pretty much already in the game. all you need to make one is Gears/cogs a spring and a key, we know there are gears and springs. (maybe not coil springs but you could probably make one) not saying it's that simple but really in the end that's all a wind up toy is. you just gotta know how to fit all those peices together.

Another thing that's hard to make is a door, I was able to make one that spawns when you go into a room (With a switch on the locked in side that allows you to make it poof away) with a mechanism that pushed it into a locked area and stops pushing when it locks, but the more advanced you make something the more likely some part will blow up if the road gets bumpy so it didn't work too well. Doors are hard to make, I did the spawn thing you did, but before I tried to use pistons, but got frustrated because I couldn't get to to close afterward.
