LBP Level Creation and HD Space

I will be buying a PS3 soon so that I can play LBP, but I just curious how much space the average level will take up? Is it a basis of how much stuff you add to it = bigger file, or just pre-set sizes? I know it's sort of a silly question but after reading a quote about how the 160 gig ps3 that's coming out would be perfect for the game, it sorta freaked me out with how much space levels will take up. Thanks! 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Each level can take a maximum of 5 megabytes of space. Which from what I have messed around in the beta, should be more than enough. My only concern is custom textures, but I'll be messing with that soon and will get back to you on that ASAP.
The 160GB PS3 is more designed for Sony's movie service coming soon.

Don't worry about the hard drive. You could buy a 40GB and just upgrade the hard drive if you need to.
There's a 320GB Hard drive here for £51 which is a pretty good deal =]
