Many of you know, Media Molecule has been moderating (Deleting) levels that they find inappropriate or violating their EULA. I would just like to bring it to the communities attention to be sure to not include any of the following in their level.

I. Be sure not to include Copyrighted or what is believed to be copyrighted material into your level

It seems this is the biggest issue that has been plaguing the online space. Many very good levels are being taken down most notably the Kratos level that presented itself in the top 25 levels list. This puzzles me the most, not to mention the Hypocrisy of the situation, they give us Kratos themed stickers and costumes and never bother to warn us that we can not make a Kratos or similarly themed level (other then in the EULA which I will explain later). So beware, anything that you suspect to be copyrighted please keep out of the theme of your level in anyway. Ironically even if it is a PlayStation themed level.

* Keep Copy-right material out of your levels
* This includes Themes
* Materials
* Stickers (User made)
* Description to be safe
* Icons! (This is how my level was deleted, with a user taken PS logo like from the PS1 days)

II. The Eula is very important to follow as well

I have read the EULA and I will highlight some parts from the EULA taken from the official LittleBigPlanet website. Please note that this is only some key information I have found in the EULA that I believe is important; meaning that their is more information you may find important on the EULA found in the game itslef.

7.ONLINE CONDUCT. When you play, you agree to be respectful of your fellow players and never to engage in any behavior that would be abusive or offensive to there players, directive of the game experience, fraudulent or otherwise illegal. This includes but is not limited to:

a. Harassing or intimidating other players;
b.using language,selecting use, character, clan or team names creating any other content that may be racially, ethnically or religiously offensive, sexually abusive, obscene or defamatory;
c. Selecting as a sure, character, clan or team name any word, symbol or combination or words and symbols which is identical to or substantially similar to any character team weapon, vehicle or other element which appears in this game;
d. Using content that is commercial in nature advertisements, solicitations and promotion for goods or services; e.falsely representing that you are an employee orf Sony Corporation, SCEA, or any other affiliated or related company;
f. Disrupting the normal flow of chat;
g. Making a false report of user abuse to SCEA Consumer Services;
h. Violating any local, state or national law;
i. Using a cheat code, cheat device or any decide that modifies the executable game code or data For a detailed explanation of the SCEA policiy on cheating, visitwww.us.playstation.com/onlinecheating.
j. Any attempt to deliberately alter, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this game, including but not limited to exploiting the ranking system by creating :dummy accounts".

III. Offensive content is "Bad" as funny as it may be

Remember that this game is rated E for EVERYONE. Even though that may mean the more mature hardcore gamer that also means that young children also play and you know you shouldn't be uploading inappropriate content. This content includes anything you wouldn't let a terminal orphan and grandmother play. Please keep the levels clean but at the same time keep it fun for everybody. If you wouldn't say it out loud or talk about it then it probably isn't a good premise for a level.

* Keep your level's CLEAN * No adult content * No Foul language
* No bad stereotypes or racism * Nothing directly connected to religion or religious texts (I'm sure we all know about this one)
* Anything else you know is bad

I would like to close this PSA by saying just be careful when you upload your levels onto the downloadable space. As once you hit publish your level is free to be judged by the public and will be viewed as such. Discriminated in every way your level will either have the chance to enlighten people or accidentally offend them. Just keep it in the back of your mind that the Nazi Mods can march into your level at anytime and as quickly dispose of it as any minute detail may slip past you and others but might be picked up in a wrong way by someone else. Be kind and enjoy LittleBigPlanet like it's meant to be played.
