 Mortasa Read here first then there--------------------------------->Littlebigplanet is definitely my favorite game. It also lasted for a very long time and it took a few days off of my life. But it was soo worth it. My favorite thing in Littlebigplanet is mostly the communications online. How you can share with your friends or show off your new costumes/levels with them and most of all, changing your expressions and speaking with them. Lets see, now the controls are what are really simple in the game. There is one tool used for swinging, shooting, pushing/pulling, activating switches and for simply holding on to something. This is the grabbing tool and my favorite =D. The levels in the storyline are great. They have so many ideas and things and yet... online, there are so many more things and ideas to discover and learn from for your own levels. Even I, one of the people who started making levels much later than everyone else, had a pretty unique and new idea. I know lots of people think that littlebigplanet is for babies, in fact, I thought the same thing when I first looked at the sackboy. Bubbles the power puff girl plus a teddy bear divided by a pikachu. All cute and cuddly for the babies, but even the levels in the storyline were hard for me. Let me name a few really hard levels that I needed to do over and over. The Bunker, The fire pits, Boom town and the collectors lair. I'm sure there are more but I don't know their names lol. | All of these levels I've mentioned, I'm almost 100% sure that no baby (apart from that baby that nartules said about with the special chewing-on-the-controller technique) could be able to beat the storyline. I'm saying that its not for babies but the babies really do like playing it (for example my baby brother) even if they spend their time continuously jumping into a pit of fire with their rediculous costumes. I know you can make soo many things in littlebigplanet but then, once you've reached your limit, you need to recharge your ideas and rest for a bit. I'm saying that you can make amazing things but it takes a veeerrry long time and you need a bit of patience. Whenever I add a friend from school, I don't bother checking if he has any levels because I know he couldn't be bothered. Hes just that type of person. Once you make your level, you think wow... I've done it woohoo! Suddenly, you find a very competetive player playing your precious level and he rates it 2 star... Nobody would play a 2 star rated level. Its what annoys me that once your level reaches down to 2 stars, its dead. And I nearly forgot to mention! The rating system should use 10 stars not 5 stars. Because some levels really deserve a good 5 star but instead they get a four star because of these really picky people. If they had the stars out of ten, then at least the picky people had a choice of something closer to 5 stars. I also like the costumes. Its great showing the reference of other characters from games on PS3 or PS2. Although some of the new costumes can get a bit ugly and lame. My favorite music is the wilderness theme. It really suits the atmosphere of many levels. So does the gardens theme. I'll rate this game: 9.9/10 |
| Defjamer | Overall: 8.5 Littlebigplanet is awesome but there are a few downsides. Level creation: 10 2 player (offline): 10 Gameplay: 10 Story: 10 Online: 4 As you can see, i gave online a 4. LBP's online is very laggy, most of the times, im not even avle to play a level because it is so laggy. I gave it an 8.5 because its only the online that is bad. If the online had no lag at all, i would give it a 10. The story is fun and exciting, and also the story just gets harder and harder but as you go, you get better and better. The 2 player is awesome, you can just go around hitting your friends on levels or in your pod! Oh and i also have to say, the pod dercoration is also awesome. But sadly, my ps3 broke down and now i hav to play LBP all over again! Yay! |
