| Kaiserlome | Control Over Gravity and Water |
| wizardssoccer | Freeze hazard...... CO-OP CREATING...... full QWERTY keyboard txt messaging.... ability to import music from the hard drivetr and to make in-game videos for other gamers...... it would be cool to make the basketballs, soccerballs, and beachballs bounce and to have hoops, goals, and stuff like that.and oh im a ***!! |
| Just4-fun | 1) Grappling Gun like in "Worms" 2) ability to zoom out and see the whole level 3) Splinter cell Costume 4) a Rope, so u can swing and climb like "Prince of Persia" without having to attach a piece of sponge with a thicker look then the string there is now.. 5) ability to make objects "unglueable" so u can be safe building lifts 6) i always build big and then scale the object down.. Problem is for almost all materials, when i build a thin line, or even a little circle it becomes a triangle, kind of frustrating.. |
| Jibblejab | Stuffies... The ability to change the gravity settings! Make a level where the gravity is low so you can make incredible jumps and sorta float around :D |
| Fatguy47 | I want to be able to put water in my levels and make a underwater level in a rocket submarine. And of course we need the ability to change materials colors because I want to make blue polka dot cardboard and blow it up. |
| Dragonlord123 | I want the element "ice" back. |
| Jay182 | i think when your in your pod u shod be able to see your friends pods out the windows and see what they look like and what there doing. and water is a great idea 2 |
| osakamitsu | I have QUITE a list. 1. I would really like to import pictures from my hard drive into the level editor as stickers. EVEN if it mean't a HUGE loss in resolution. 2. A proper texture painter would be amazing. The use of opacity would be incredible. 3. If not a texture painter then stickers that will allow me to paint more accurately. And the amount of stickers that can be used per object increased. 4. I would like to edit what the background looks like. Maybe be able to import a jpeg from the hard drive to place into the back ground. Actually I'd prefer that we could be able to import pictures for the back ground so we can match our backgrounds with the overall theme. Some of us know photoshop very well. I would love to be able to design just a flat backdrop in photoshop and import it in. Or at least some more choices for our back drops... like a wear house or something that has generic structures that could be perceived differently depending on the theme the rest of our level follows. 5. Better tools to manipulate the geometry... I'd really like to be able to scale not only the overall size but also the width and height separately. 6. PC Mouse compatibility or even wacom tablet compatibility for better control over sticker painting. I could do so much more if I had those functions. 7. Not sure if its possible but the ability to silence objects that are being emitted. I have created very nice rain and snow, but the clunkyness of the object hitting the ground is almost too much sometimes. I realize I can adjust the decay or life span of the object being emitted but I would like to take it further by not letting it make a sound in the first place. I would love to be able to import my own sound files for emitted objects as well. Even if they are only a second or 2 in length. I would like to be able to import a sound and decide when that sound gets played depending on the location of the emitted object. For instance... if the object being emitted is leaving the emitter or weather its hitting the ground... I'd like to choose the sound it makes at each point. I am willing to stores gigs worth of sound effects and pictures on my ps3s hard drive just make an incredible level. Its just a little annoying when your rain that's made of glass or your snow is making "plink" sounds as it hits the ground. I would love to have a half a second sound bite (or multiple for randomization) for the the emitters. Like find a sample of the crackling sound snow makes and use it instead of a plink sound. 8. The ability to have functional emitters in the foreground. 9. If possible It would be really great to have another background. I would like another flat background behind the already flat background so I can make even more interesting back grounds in layers. 10. And of course.. maybe top of every ones list. Not even sure its possible. A bigger thermometer. 11. I would love to import my own music for my levels. I don't mean licensed material either. Something I have written on my computer would be great. I understand something like this may be harder to do with copyrights and stuff... but I'm just looking for the ability of adding my own. Or at least have more music options and in a broader ranger. We need epic music. metal. with huge solos. Or very atmospheric stuff.... 12. What about a paper material? something very light weight that gets thrown around easily. PERFECT for snow. 13. What about wind? or fans? It would be nice to have an emitter that emitted an overall wind through out the entire level. or even on just one plane would be nice. 14. water 15. an ooze like material. 16. the ability to make objects glow. 17. What about being able to make some objects have different material properties? ... metal and glass.... or metal and flammable material? etc. 18. The ability to have the electricity go from one point to another... BUT in mid air not having to follow the selected object. Or to be able to turn certain objects into alphas but not there materials... so this would be possible. That's all for now. I'm sure I'll be back. |
| Discosmurf | Editor: 1. We really need to be able to operate the zoom function while shaping and moving objects. This is actually quite annoying. 2. We need scales, or some kind of ruler/slider that tells us where we are in the level. Moving from one end to the other with a wire is a challenge, sometimes. 2. Yes, Sackboy is a cutie, but sometimes he's just in the way! (but yes, I still find it hilarious when he gets his face filled with foliage.) 3.Sometimes, when the thermometer is just Way up there, it seems like the editor "forgets" that certain things are attached. And this is not the only glitch that I believe is connected to huge levels; I've had logical switches jump out of their sockets for no reason! Shapes that suddenly fly off into the sky and other paranormal incidents. 4. It would be desirable to be able to work more in the Z-axis(and again, being able to work in this axis without Sackie blocking the view all the time. Whenever this happens, you have to go all the way back out of the popit and shove him away) This would also allow access to object that are hidden and thus unreachable unless you make a peephole. 5. I support the idea that there should be a mute-function for emitters. 6. Curved object aren't perfectly curved(circles aren't perfect circles). This would be desirable. 7. The Pause-sound is driving me nuts. Working with AND/OR switches and pistons/winches sometimes forces us to work in pause mode for long periods of time to prevent contraptions from going haywire. That sound just sends chills down my spine.. 8. Even though I know it is tough for the poor PS3 CPU, an approach to aerodynamics would open for some exhilarating possibilities. 8.1. We need parachutes! Other than the ones you just shape out of floaters. Just like a jet pack, only it displays an animation of a parachute deploying at the press of a button. Imagine big ways of sackboys and girls pulling off sick freefly-formations and then deploying their chutes before swooping in through gates that tests their accuracy! (and lowpull-competitions...) 8.2. Yes, I am a skydiver/BASE-jumper :) Please... parachutes... 9. Sometimes it is hard to tell what objects/stickers/decorations/whatever actually look like in the popit. Some sort of "browser" would be neat or a function that zooms in on the object. Community: 1. Authors should be allowed to tag their own levels before publishing to determine a genre. This calls for a different approach to the tag system: 2. The tags don't really serve their purpose. My levels usually get all the tags there is, and this renders the search function useless. A genre based tag system would be better. As of now, Race is the only tag in this category(adventure, sports, 2X, 3X, 4X, etc. etc. etc.) 3. Ban, or strictly moderate, trophy and h4h levels. These levels block out quality levels. 4. Being able to see the high scores on your own levels and also being able to see who hearted your level would be pleasing. 5. Sometimes, even though I take my job seriously, I'm wondering if someone has played my levels during the day. What about a web page where you could check the status of your levels other than in the pod? littlebigplanet dot com is a joke. 6. I never thought I would get so deep into this game. Thank you Media Molecule. It's both a blessing, and a curse. |
| Uguu | OK My list will be weird and random but here it goes! 1. I really like the ideaof controlling wind, it could really set the feel of a level, rather than having an emitter emit rain moving to the left, while decorations are moving to right. 2. The putting your own description could have problems, people would tag it as beautiful and amazing, but maybe genres could work, like race, adventure and stuff. 3. This must be on a lot of people minds, but for those of us who were unfortunate to not get allowance and stuff, and couldn't pre-order, maybe you could add Nariko and kratos to the psn store sometime? Back on topic: 4. I really like the parachute idea, cause using a tea cup with balloons (Even though I absolutely love teacup diving, really :D) doesn't work too well for me :P 5. Trophy levels and heart levels need to be taken care of, it's really not fair. Now when I go to cool levels, I start at page 6 and work my way up because page 1 has too many trophy levels, which also stops me from posting levels unless I can perfect cause I don't wanna work on a level just to have it go unnoticed.. So Media Molecule, I know you guys will read all this, and thanks for taking us into consideration! <3 |
| Kaiserlome | Extra layers that you can't go on at the back so you can make your own backgrounds. |
| Kaiserlome | The ability to choose the shape of photos you take (Non Ps Eye) |
| Kaiserlome | 2 player versus mode |
| ANRrmb2 | A Soul Calibur 4 costume pack! I can just picture a siegfried and Nightmare costumes! If the made a Street fighter pack y not SC!? |
| jasperarmstrong | 1. Water 2. Gravity control 3. Ability to choose which hand you grab with 4. Teleportation level kit (not the ones where the checkpoints move and you die) 5. Parachutes 6. Wind 7. More free content in the PS Store would be appreciated |
| Kaiserlome | More control over physics and the ability to choose the strength of a material. Also more materials types like sand of sinking material. |
| Kaiserlome | More tools |
| Dances_With_Llamas | 1.A "destruction" switch that activated only when the object it was attached to was completly destroyed 2. Ability to make a material less dense. Sometimes you need the strength of metal but the weight of sponge. 3. Ability to make a sticky surface, or suction cups. Thinking of levels where you might have a grappling hook type thing or maybe build you way up through a level. |
| lbpkratossackboy | They are adding user with friends create mode soon! |
| octav1a | Music from the Exotic Sounds of Martin Denny Everying time I listen to that album all I can think is how perfect these songs would be for a level. They're all silly and fun. |
| robotiod | Z axis |
| Maori-Avatar (PSN: Lordvegeta) | More types of guns other then paintgun, like a goo gun that fires in a stream and if you walk in it you get stuck, good for a deathmatch level; OR different destruction guns, they shoot fire/fireballs, hot tar, lightning bolt gun, so that we can make deathmatch levels, my Gauntlet series will be great with those. An easy way to do this might be to have a lethalise paintgun options, so we can just use existing lethalise buttons to change the shots of paint to shoot fire, gas or electric pellets. Oh and the ability to have different starting points when playing multiplayer, So sack peeps all start at a different part of the level |
| Kiminski | A tool that lets you activate and deactivate the use of one of the three lanes. Gravity Control. |
| Kaiserlome | 1. The ability to make checkpoints only active for one player (In the tweak menu you select player 1,2,3,4 or All) 2. A checkpoint switch. A switch that is only activated when you die and respawn from the checkpoint. 3. The ability to connect switches to checkpoints. (Switches that activate checkpoints.) 4. Portals. 5. A touch switch. Like the grab switch except you only have to touch it. |
| Kaiserlome | Better photobooth and custom sticker quality |
| Mortasa | 3D pistons. A tool which can change an object's lane in play mode! |
| meluvjackdaniels | - A way to create new materials. Whether with an eye, or some other way. As of now, if you use stickers to change the appearance of a material, you have to sticker the ENTIRE object. This takes up too much of the thermometer if you want your whole levels ground to be black and white checkerboard, or pink and blue polka dot. Or at least give us a way to change the color of existing materials. - I second a popit browser. Or at least making the images bigger when you pass over them, so you can see what they are. |
| SumGuyWifBanana | 1. Anti sac boy gravity material which is like dark matter but the sac boy can walk sideways or upside down when on it. 2. A slow button during level creation 3. A sac boy to object ratio calculating device thingy magigy which compares the size of the object to a sacboy so things don't look out of proportion 4. be able to make your own stickers by uploading images from photo from the PS3 5. Be able to place your own music in levels by uploading music files form music on the PS3 6.Be able to somehow advertise your level to the little big community so more people would play it 7. have a function where it shows what is connected to what so you can make sure that everything is stuck together |
| rmrichard8 | 1) a way to mute brains 2) a warning that you have too much items that doesn'tappearevery minute 3) a harbor background like the one show on one of the trailers |
| Atarikidd | 1. A Bigger Thermometer in fact add 3 or 4 more to make it 500% lol. 2. Another idea that would be nice would be away to link your moon blank spaces together, like if you fill one you can continue your level onto the next blank space on your moon. This way once you publish it,it would automatilly aloow the player to play the whole levelbecause it was linked together. 3. Online Create Mode to allow for you and your friends to create levels togther. 4. I also would like someway to control gravity in my levels. |
| Napoleon Mumbo | More dangerous materials like ice and radiation, just to go with more themes. |
| Gr33NMouS3 | -A Video Capture to HDD option -A Screenshot to HDD option -Sticky Material, material where you can't jump off |
| SuperOverlord | - An option to save pod decorations like costumes and select between them. Would prevent others from destroying you're pod irrecoverably and it would be nice to change without losing the one you already have. - More profile space. As it is, it's not nearly enough. I have only a few objects, photos or costumes and 5 saved levels and I'm constantly getting the "profile too large" pop up. - Larger thermometer. At the moment it's pretty limited and that's with using few different materials and saving thermometer space. - Allowed to enter create mode with friends online. - Allowed to change the side ratios of the photo capture tool like the capture object tool.A square photo or longer/thinner rectangle. Would make building custom stickers a bit better. Better photo image quality would be handy too. - Chat function like a keyboard in form. Its quicker selecting letters when they're all there than cycling through letters like texting. - Use zoom while placing objects,etc... Would be really nice if you could. |
| charactercreator | you should be able to design stickers and there should be water and when you go under water there |
